Beginner Geek: How to Create and Use Virtual Machines

The VMWare Tools 10.2.0 update helped with the problem of saving MSOffice files to the VM share, but MSWord is still hanging. I'm often getting the Word (not responding) message with a white page that usually goes away after 30-60 seconds, but is annoying and occasionally causes lost work.

I chose the operating system Windows 8 (64-bit) build as Windows 10 is not an option yet within VMware Fusion 6. This way I figure I’m pretty close to a Windows 10 build in reality. This way I figure I’m pretty close to a Windows 10 build in reality.
